Hello Story, week 4;

I am LOVING this class. Ali Edwards through Big Picture Classes is presenting this class. She is sharing 12 weeks of inspiration and story structure tools to help us tell our story’s in scrapbooking.

Week 4; The concept of TIME, is the tool we are exploring. We have been given many prompts that can help us tell our story.  Here is this weeks layout that I made yesterday. I realize I didn’t put the date on it! I will after I post this.  I will be out of town for the next week so will “catch up”, when I get back.

I used Studio Calico’s Planitarium kit, Ali Edwards Hello Story handout, Hero Arts stamp.

May today be a day full of grace for you.  Much blessing as this week approaches, I will see you soon.   LUBM         Debbie

Hello Story week 3

I am still loving this class; Ali Edwards Hello Story with Big Picture Classes. It has been a very fun, inspirational, and creative class. She is sharing 12 Story structures over 12 weeks. These are tools to help us tell our story. She shares examples and gives us ideas for layouts. She also shares with us some creative prompts.  Week 3 our assignment is to use the idea of “direction”, to help us tell a deeper story of our lives.  I created 2 layouts.  These are story’s I have been pondering, but with her help, I decided to make these scrapbook layouts.

I am attending a 12 hour crop next Saturday hosted by the Kroc center.  I am sure I will have a lot of layouts to share with you and will post them here. I also will plan to do at least 1 layout a week through this hello story class.

 May today be a beautiful day of mercy and grace to you as you continue to “grow up into Him in all things.”  LUBM         Debbie

Hello Story; week 2

I am loving this Big Picture class with Ali Edwards.  This is week two of  “Hello Story.”  We are using “fill in the blank” forms to help us tell our scrapbook story.  This “chalk board” idea is one of Ali’s and I had fun figuring out a way to make this. It’s Ok, but I think I would redo the “framing” a bit different. I love stitching, but to really mimic a chalkboard, I think I would have a wood grain paper as a frame if I did it again.

Jaela is beginning to smile. I just can’t help myself in wanting to scrapbook our dear little first grand child again and again.  In September, our next little one will be born. Our oldest daughter will be having a little girl as well.  So fun!

Have a great week of rejoicing as you call on the Lord’s name.  Jesus is Lord!  LUBM       Debbie

Hello Story

I am loving Ali Edwards class at Big Picture Classes, “Hello Story”.  This week she has shared using timelines as a tool for telling your story. I have used one of her ideas for this layout. I plan to meet the classes “assignment” for a layout a week and will post it here.

I have been very busy with many trips.  Babysitting,  assist son moving, visiting daughter, helping her set up craft room getting her baby’s room ready. My son in law’s big iron man race.  My daughter from Germany visiting me, my dear fathers memorial services, our vacation to a Bible conference in CA. etc.  I have a few more trips I need to take, so I will post again when I can.

Scrap booking  really is a real refreshment to me. I am glad I decided to take this class. My dear husband “insisted” in his sweet loving way.  We need to stay refreshed, I think even more so when we are so busy.

Much grace to all of us as we pursue Christ in our days. HE IS EVERYTHING.  Lubm…….Debbie.
